CTET 2026 Exam Analysis Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the CTET 21st Edition exam on February 8 in two shifts. The authority released the CBSE CTET admit card on February 5 on the official portal at ctet.nic.in. It is mandatory to carry hall ticket to the exam centre. - Entry to exam centre will be allowed only within reporting time as mentioned on the CTET admit card.

CBSE has issued instructions for all candidates
- Electronic items such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, or any communication gadgets are prohibited.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry books, notes, written material or any unfair means.
- They must follow all instructions given by invigilators during the exam.
- Violation of rules may lead to cancellation of candidature.
Candidates with benchmark disabilities who have submitted valid certificates during registration are being provided facilities such as extra time, scribes, and ground-floor seating, as per CBSE.

CBSE Announced Guidelines for PwD Candidates
Central Board of Secondary Education has released detailed guidelines for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) who wish to avail facility of scribe during CTET Feb 2026 exam. Candidates claiming PwBD status under Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 must submit a valid disability certificate in specified format along with a UDID card issued by a competent authority.

CTET 2026 Exam on Feb 7 Live: Check Exam Day Guidelines

The examination rooms will be opened at 7:30 am for shift 1 and at 12.30 pm for shift 2, that is, two hours before the exam. This is the shift-wise reporting time for the exam.

Candidates should take their seats immediately after the opening of rooms.

A seat indicating roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates should look for their roll numbers and occupy their allocated seats only.

Candidates who come after the commencement of the exam will now be allowed to sit in the exam.

No candidate, without the special permission of the invigilator, will be allowed to leave his or her seat until the paper is over.

Smoking, chewing gutka, spiting, having tea/ coffee/ cold drinks or snacks are not allowed inside the examination rooms.
