NDA Notification 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will shortly release the notification for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination 1, 2025 today: December 11. Candidates can download the NDA 1 notification pdf online at its official website: upsc.gov.in. Along with the notification, NDA application form will also be released. As per the tentative schedule, the NDA 1 2025 application process will end on December 31.
Candidates (except for SC/ST candidates/female candidates/Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of INR 100. Also, the NDA 1 written examination is slated to be conducted on April 13, 2025.

Who are eligible to apply for NDA 1 2025?
The eligibility criteria for the NDA exam are defined based on parameters such as age, educational qualifications, nationality, and physical standards. To apply for the NDA exam, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens or meet other nationality requirements as specified in the official notification.
- Physical Standards
- Age and Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates aged between 16.5 and 19.5 years are eligible to apply.
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates appearing in Class 12 under the 10+2 pattern of school education or an equivalent examination are also eligible to apply.
For the Indian Army: Candidates must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
For the Indian Navy and Air Force: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects. They must meet the physical and medical standards prescribed by the National Defence Academy.

One time registration is mandatory to fill NDA application form. The steps to complete one time registration are given below:
- Visit the official website of UPSC
- Register through OTR portal by clicking ‘New Registration’ button
- After registration, candidates have to login with the email ID/mobile number/OTR ID) to verify the already registered OTR application
- Go to the ‘Latest Notification’ tab in the OTR application
- Apply for desired exam
