RRB Group D 2026: Railway Recruitment Boards (RBI) is going to release RRB Group D 2026 notification on January 21 for 22,000 vacancies. Along with notification, RRB Group D application form will also be released on January 21, 2026.
For RRB 2026 Group D, candidates need to be between the age 18 to 33 years only. The last date to apply for these vacancies is February 20, 2026.
For RRB Group D 2025 the CBT exam was being held for 32,438 vacancies. The exam will conclude on February 10, 2026. The admit card is available and the answer key will be out in February 2026.
RRB Group D 2026 Exam: More Details
Railway Recruitment Cells (RRC) conducts this national-level exam. The test provides an excellent opportunity to students after Class 10 to join Indian Railways. The candidates are selected for various posts like in Level-1 of the seventh CPC pay matrix such as Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Assistant Pointsman and many more.
The selection process includes CBT, Physical Efficiency Test, Document Verification & Medical Examination. The application fee is INR 500, and for PwBD/ Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen and SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class it is INR 250.
