Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) is expected to release RRB NTPC 2026 Undergraduate (UG) application form status soon. Candidates who have applied for UG-level posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment will be able to check whether their applications have been accepted or rejected by logging in with their credentials.
Application status is released after scrutiny of forms submitted by candidates. RRBs examine applications to ensure that eligibility conditions are met and all required details have been correctly filled.
Why RRB NTPC Application Status Is Released
The application status helps candidates know whether they are eligible to appear for next stage of the recruitment process. After verification, applications are categorised as accepted, provisionally accepted or rejected due to errors such as incomplete information, incorrect documents or ineligibility.
Only candidates whose applications are accepted will be allowed to proceed further in the selection process.

Once released, candidates can check their RRB NTPC UG application status by following these:

- Enter your registration number and date of birth or password.
- Submit details to view application status.
- Download or take a printout for future reference.

Release of application status is an important step before issuance of RRB NTPC 2026 UG admit card. Candidates whose applications are accepted will be eligible to download their admit cards once released. Admit card will contain details such as exam date, shift timing and exam centre.

Candidates who appear in the first stage CBT are eligible for the refund of examination fee as per details. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Whereas candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. Candidates who do not wish to receive the refund in the account should provide the details of the beneficiary account in which they wish to receive the refund such as beneficiary name, account number, name of bank and IFSC Code in the application form.
The application fee of RRB NTPC can be paid online only. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class. The application fees is refunded to candidates once candidates appear in the CBT.
RRB NTPC 2025 application status 2025 was released by RRBs. Candidates can check their application status by logging with the required credentials. The application status displays whether the candidate's online form has been accepted or rejected. If the form gets rejected, the examination authority have provided the reason for rejection.
In previous cycle, RRB NTPC Graduate application status for CEN No. 06/2025 was released on January 20. For that cycle, UG application form was available till December 4, while correction window closed on December 16. A total of 3,058 UG vacancies and 8,875 Graduate-level vacancies were notified under RRB NTPC 2025.
