SSC CGL Results 2025 PDF OUT; 49 Candidates Withheld due to various reasons
SSC CGL tier 1 results have been announced for 14,582 vacancies for various Group B and Group C posts. Candidates can check their SSC CGL 2025 tier 1 result pdf at official website along with number of withheld candidates.
Staff Selection Commission has declared the Combined Graduate Level tier 1 exam results today along with number of withheld candidates. Those who appeared for tier 1 exam can check SSC CGL result 2025 at ssc.gov.in. A total of 1,39,395 candidates have qualified in SSC CGL 2025 tier 1 exam. Now, they have been shortlisted for tier II exam, which will be tentatively held in the third week of January 2026.

SSC CGL 2025 Result; 49 Candidates Withheld
As per notice issued SSC CGL tier 1 results of 49 candidates have been withheld due to various reasons. It has been mentioned that SSC CGL result has been withheld due to these reasons pending Litigations and Court cases. While SSC CGL tier 1 results of 5 candidates have not been processed due to their debarment from SSC exam or cancellation or rejection of candidature.
The official notice also states,"Since the Tier-I of Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shift, the marks scored by the candidates have been normalized in accordance with formulae/methodology published by the Commission (through the Write-up F. No. HQ-PP001/6/2024-PP dated 02.06.2025) on its website. Such normalized marks have been used to qualify the candidates for the next stage of Examination [i.e. CGLE (Tier-II)]."
