The Staff Selection Commission will soon start the SSC GD Slot Booking 2026. The exam will start from February 23, 2026 and slot booking is expected to start anytime now.

The slot booking facility will help students to select the preferred exam date, exam city and shift timing from the options available on the portal. The intimation slip is expected on February 13, 2026. 

The SSC GD admit card will be released on February 19, 2026. The admit card will be available online only. Candidates will be able to download it using login credentials. It is a mandatory document to be carried at the exam centre. Once the admit card is out, the candidates must verify all details carefully.

The slot booking will be done online through login on SSC website. Candidates must complete the slot booking process within the given time. If candidates fail to book slot on time, they will get exam city, shift and date as per availability. Hence, to avoid any inconvenience candidates must carefully complete this process.

• Visit official website of SSC.
• On homepage, candidates must open candidate login section
• Enter registered ID and password to login on website
• They are advised to carefully select preferred exam date, shift and city
• They must confirm OTP verification
• Submit and save confirmation details.

The SSC GD 2026 exam will be conducted online as a Computer Based Exam to fill a total of 25487 vacancies. The examination is expected to be postponed due to the fact that SSC MTS exam is being conducted across the nation from February 4, 2026.
