SSC Phase 13 Exam 2025 Rescheduled: SSC Announces Re-Exam for 59,500 Candidates on August 29

After student protests and technical glitches, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has confirmed a re-exam for over 59,000 aspirants on August 29, 2025.

Staff Selection Commission has issued a notice confirming Phase-XIII exam will be conducted for 59,500 candidates. Re-exam is scheduled for August 29, 2025.

Decision was taken after SSC analyzed server logs and identified candidates who were affected by technical failures, vendor glitches, and exam disruptions in earlier attempt.

SSC Notice states that re-exam date has been fixed for August 29, 2025. More than 59,500 candidates are eligible for this rescheduled exam. Candidates can check reschedule status from Aug 22, 2025 by logging into SSC portal at ssc.gov.in. Admit cards will be available for download from Aug 26, 2025. Students will also be informed via emails and SMS.

Why the SSC Exam Was Rescheduled

SSC Phase 13 recruitment exam had faced widespread criticism after multiple candidates reported being unable to attempt it due to server crashes, power cuts, and mismanagement by exam vendors. Students held protests in different states including national capital Delhi, with many demanding cancellation and re-exam.

Earlier, SSC Chairman defended Eduquity over TCS in vendor selection row, but continued outrage forced Commission to take corrective steps. SSC has clarified that only affected candidates will be given a re-exam.
