SSC Stenographer Skill Test Date 2025 Soon
Staff Selection Commission is yet to announce SSC Stenographer Skill Test date 2025 for candidates who have qualified in first stage. Candidates can check SSC Steno skill test date notice pdf only at official website ssc.gov.in. SSC Stenographer recruitment exam is held in two stages computer-based test and skill test.
Earlier, SSC Stenographer 2025 CBT was conducted August 6 to 8. Whereas, result for CBT exam was announced on November 28, 2025. SSC conducts Stenographer exam every year for recruitment of Stenographer Grade C (Group B Non-Gazetted) and Grade D (Group C) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations.Â

SSC Stenographer Skill Test time differs for each post and language selected for transcription. For Stenographer Grade C, duration is 40 minutes for English and 55 minutes for Hindi, while candidates using scribe get 55 minutes and 75 minutes, respectively. For Stenographer Grade D, duration is 50 minutes for English and 65 minutes for Hindi, with extended time of 70 minutes and 90 minutes for those who opted for scribe.
The Commission will conduct the Constable GD in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF and Rifleman GD in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2026 from February 23 onwards. The SSC GD Constable 2025 exam will be conducted online in the computer-based exam (CBE) mode. The Staff Selection Commission organises the exam in various exam centres across India.
The SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam is expected to be conducted in February-March 2026. The Staff Selection Commmission will conduct the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 2 Exam at the designated exam centres. The candidates will get the information regarding the exam through their admit card only after the declaration of the Tier 1 results.
