SSC to Hold CGL Re-Exam on October 14, Answer Key Out on October 15

The SSC CGL Tier-1 examination this year registered around 28 lakh applications, of which nearly 13.5 lakh candidates appeared. The test was held in 45 shifts over 15 days, covering 255 centres across 126 cities.

The Commission said that apart from the fire-hit shift, some irregularities had also come to light during the conduct of the exam. Several candidates were caught producing fake benchmark disability documents and attempting to misuse the scribe facility.
