UGC NET Re-Exam 2026

UGC NET June 2026 Re-Exam: National Testing Agency has announced re-examination for candidates who were affected by technical issues held at CT Group of Institutions Examination Centre in Jalandhar. NTA clarified that only those candidates of Shift 1 who were present at centre but could not start or complete UGC NET 2026 due to technical issues, through no fault of their own, will be eligible to appear for re-exam.

According to official notice, UGC NET June 2026 re-exam will be conducted on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 3 PM onwards. UGC NET re-exam will be held at same examination centre CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar. NTA stated that re-exam is being organised to make sure that all affected candidates get fair opportunity to take exam.

Who Can Appear for UGC NET Re-Exam 2026?

UGC NET re-examination is meant only for candidates who

• were allotted CT Group of Institutions Examination Centre, Jalandhar

• Appeared for Shift 1 of UGC NET June 2026 exam on June 22

• were present at examination centre

• Could not take or complete exam because of technical issues at centre

Candidates who completed their examination or those from other exam centres are not eligible for re-test.

Revised UGC NET Admit Cards to Be Issued

NTA has informed that revised UGC NET admit cards will be released shortly. Candidates are advised to regularly check official UGC NET website for updates regarding admit card, reporting time and examination guidelines.
