UP PGT 2025 Exam Postponed Again; UPESSC to announce New Dates Soon

UP PGT 2025 exam has been postponed once again. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will soon announce the UP PGT new exam dates. On the other hand, there is no update for the UP TGT exam, which is scheduled on December 18 and 19, 2025.

UP PGT Exam Postponed

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has postponed the UP PGT exam, which was scheduled to be held on October 15 and 16, 2025. As per the official notice regarding the UP PGT exam postponement, the new dates will be announced soon. It may be noted here that the UP Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) exam under 02/22 notification has been postponed several times this year. The exam was initially scheduled in June 2025, which was then postponed to August and then to October. The rescheduling of the Uttar Pradesh PGT Bharti exam has disheartened lakhs of candidates who registered in 2022 and have been waiting since then for the conduct of the exam. It is suggested that candidates should not lose hope and utilize this time for their preparations.

UP TGT 2025 Exam Update

The official notice released on the UPESSC website informs only about the PGT exam. There is no update on the UP TGT exam as of now. It is most likely that the written exam for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) post will be held as scheduled on December 18 and 19, 2025.

UP TGT PGT Vacancies

The UP TGT PGT recruitment under 01/22 and 02/22 notifications seeks to fill 4,163 vacancies. Out of these, 3,539 vacancies will be filled for UP TGT and 624 for UP PGT teachers.
