The Commission released the UPSC ESE (IES) 2025 admit card for the mains exam, which will be conducted on August 10, 2025. Candidates can check below for the steps to download the main admit card, and the download link is also provided below.
UPSC ESE(IES) 2025 Mains Admit Card Out
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the admit card for the Engineering Services Mains examination on July 30, 2025 (today) at upsconline.gov.in. Candidates can download their main hall ticket from the official website or a direct link provided below. The UPSC ESE 2025 Mains exam will be conducted on August 10, 2025, in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the second shift will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Those candidates who qualified for the UPSC ESE (IES) 2025 Prelims exam are eligible to appear for the Mains examination. The prelims result was announced on June 21, 2025. After the declaration of the final results, we will publish the ESE cutoff and marks to fill a total of 232 vacancies in the various engineering departments.

Candidates can check below the steps to download the mains admit card for UPSC IES 2025 examination,
- Visit the official website at upsconline.gov.in
- Click on the 'e-admit card engineering services' on the 'Whats new' section.
- Click on the 'Engineering Services Exam 2025' under the active examination
- Again click on ESE (IES) admit card 2025
- The hall ticket will appear on the screen
- Download and save it for future reference

The candidates will be required to carry the same photo identity proof whose number was mentioned in the UPSC application form. The candidates will be required to produce the same at the time of examination because its number will be mentioned on the UPSC admit card. List of Valid Photo Identity Proof
The following identity proofs are mentioned as valid identity proofs
- Aadhar Card
- PAN Card
- Voter-ID Card
- Driving Licence
- Passport
- Identity Card issued by any Government Authority
The candidates are required mention the number of one photo identity card in the IES application form. It is mandatory to carry the same identity card to the examination centre (as mentioned in the application form).
