
BBAU new courses for session 2025-26 have been designed in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020 and professional requirements in order to equip students with skill-based learning and real-world experience.
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) will offer new 24 undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate and diploma programmes for the upcoming academic session. The programme aims to equip students with modern technical skills, professional knowledge and research research-oriented approach. The new session of BBAU is tentatively to begin in August 2025.
The authorities will offer admission to several industry-oriented programmes, including PG Diploma courses in film and theatre acting and editing, and social media marketing. Other than these programmes, certificate courses in bakery and confectionery and a diploma course in cognitive neuroscience will be offered by the university, as reported by TOI.
The BBAU's newly introduced programmes have been designed as per the National Education Policy 2020 guidelines. The programme aims to offer skill-based learning with a focus on providing employment-oriented and professional training to the students. The programmes will further aim to offer real-world experience to the students. The university will further introduce integrated UG programmes that offer multidisciplinary education under one roof.
Further, the department of journalism and mass communication will offer PG Diploma in social media, film and theatre acting and editing, design and graphics in corporate communication along with a certificate course in radio jockey and video jockey.
Furthermore, the PG diploma in manuscriptology will be offered by the department of library and information science will offer training in the study of handwritten documents, editing and interpretation. Another course i.e. one-year diploma in post-harvest technology for horticulture crops will be offered for the students.
