BHU IIT BHU signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate the sharing of laboratory and library facilities, as well as to further joint research projects.

BHU IIT BHU MoU

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and the Indian Institute of Technology-BHU (IIT-BHU) have signed three Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to share the laboratory and library facilities and joint search projects. The MoU will enable them to significantly opportunity for mutual growth. 

Three MoU Signed Between BHU and IIT BHU

The MoU for lab facilities and usage of research equipment will enable faculty members and students to access facilities that may be available at the premises. The institutions have decided to share their library resources as well. This will enable BHU faculty and students to access and get digital resources at the IIT BHU library. Further, this will enable advanced teaching, and learning and train the staff to learn new techniques. 

Under the third MoU, the two institutions will have collaborative research in areas of mutual interest. The aim is to have joint project proposals for funding from several agencies. The PhD students enrolled at the partner institution will also get benefit from faculty members. Additionally, the MoU opens new research opportunities for PhD students and allows them to get short-term research at the partner institution.
