Candidates appearing for the first shift of CUET UG 2026 on May 20 must report to their allotted exam centre before 8:30 AM. The exam centre gates will close after the reporting deadline, and late entry will not be allowed under any circumstances.

Candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2026 examination must follow the official dress code guidelines issued by NTA.
- Wear light-coloured and comfortable clothes
- Woollen clothes are allowed after frisking
- Normal shoes, slippers, and low-heel footwear are preferred
- Religious items such as Kalava are permitted after proper checking

CUET UG 2026 May 20 Shift 1 & 2 Exams to Be Conducted in CBT Mode
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET UG 2026 examination for both Shift 1 and Shift 2 on May 19 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across designated examination centres in India.

The CUET questions are objective in nature and carries four options also known as MCQs. Candidates will have to choose the correct answer option and click on it with the help of mouse. Since CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in a CBT mode, test-takers will be able to mark only one answer option. In case it is the correct option, students will get +5 marks and in case of wrong answer, negative marking scheme will be applied. Hence, candidates must ensure the accuracy of the answer before selecting the answer.
