The university has started counselling for various UG (B.V.Sc & A.H., B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri., B.F.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.) Comm. Sc., B.Tech. Food Technology and B.Tech. Biotechnology) programmes
Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) has released the cutoff ranks and seat distribution details for final round of offline counselling for its Undergraduate (UG) programmes for the 2025-26 academic session.
GBPUAT will hold online counseling for these courses from November 1 to November 3, 2025. Students looking to take admission in in agriculture, veterinary sciences, fisheries, and biotechnology fields, can join the counselling process.
The official notice reads: “For choice filling, type gbpuat.org.in in the browser and press enter button. Then, click on Candidate Login tab on the home page of the portal and login into your account by using same user ID and password as used at the time of filling application form. After this follow the procedure of choice filling as described on the portal.”
The counselling process will be for admissions to six UG programmes: B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.F.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, B.Tech. Food Technology, and B.Tech. Biotechnology.
Cutoff ranks have been set based on the university's entrance exam performance, varying by category and sub-category.
Candidates falling within these ranks are urged to verify their eligibility, including age limits: 17 years minimum for B.V.Sc. & A.H. as of December 31, 2025; maximum 25 years for UR (30 for OBC/SC/ST) for other programmes.
Seat Distribution Breakdown
A total of limited seats are available across categories. Payment and self-finance options are offered for select programmes and states.
Counselling Schedule and FeesOnline Choice Filling: November 1 to 3, 2025, via the portal at gbpuat.org.in. A non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 500 must be paid online.
Physical Reporting: November 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM, at the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
How to Participate: Log in using your application credentials on the university website, fill choices, and prepare for reporting with all documents.
Fee Insights
Annual/semester fees vary by programme, including food advances adjustable on actuals:
B.V.Sc. & A.H.: Rs. 132,189 (normal); additional Rs. 500,000 for payment seats.
Other UG Programmes:
Rs. 57,649–57,742 per semester (normal); extras of Rs. 25,000–50,000 for self-finance/payment seats.
Although NTA, National Testing Agency is the CUET PG 2025 examination conducting body but the CUET PG 2025 Counselling process is not conducted by NTA. As per the previous year trend, candidates can expect the counselling process for CUET PG 2025 will be held separately for different participating universities under CUET PG 2025 Examination. It is expected for this year's counselling process that there will not be any combined counselling process.

The counselling process for CUET PG 2026 will be held separately for different participating universities under the CUET PG 2026 Examination. Therefore, the CUET PG 2026 Counselling Rounds are not specific to any number. Depending on the availability of vacant seats at that particular university of any course, the CUET PG counselling rounds will vary.
But as per the previous year trend, candidates can expect at least two rounds of counselling for any course at one of the participating universities.
