IISER Tirupati invites applications for professor, assistant professor posts

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati has invited online applications from Indian nationals possessing good academic record and relevant work experience for the posts of Professor and Assistant Professor in areas of biology, chemistry, earth and climate science, humanities & social sciences, maths and physics. The last date to submit applications is July 12, 2023 (5 pm). 

Eligibility criteria for the post of Professor 

Candidates applying for the post of Professor must hold: 

• A PhD with a first class in the preceding degree, with very good academic record throughout in addition to proven track record of outstanding research ability and proven leadership skills.  
• He/she must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant post-PhD research and teaching experience from India (or) abroad, of which, at least four years have to be at the level of Associate Professor from Institutes of Eminence / Institutes of National Importance such as IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, Central Universities, reputed National level Research Institutes/Laboratories etc.

Eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Professor 

Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor must hold: 

• A PhD with a first class in the preceding degree with very good academic record.  
• He/ she must have at least three years of relevant post-PhD experience in teaching / research / industry.
