Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has released the provisional key for IIT JAM 2026 on the website, jam2026.iitb.ac.in. Students can check the IIT JAM 2026 answer key through the JOAPS portal. IIT JAM answer key 2026 challenge window will remain open till 11:59 PM on February 27, 2026.

The authority released the JAM 2026 response sheet on February 18, 2026. Students can use their response sheet and answer key to cross-check their answers and calculate the probable score.

The steps to challenge the answer key of IIT JAM 2026 are quite simple.

• First of all access the JOAPS portal using the enrolment id or email address and password.
• Then click on the option to challenge the answer key.
• Now provide the answer key and upload the supporting documents.
• Pay the answer key challenge fees.
• Finally, submit the challenge.

Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) was conducted on February 15, 2026. The exam was conducted for seven papers, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Geology, Economics, and Mathematical Statistics. The exam was conducted in two sessions - forenoon and afternoon. The exam was conducted as computer based test for three hours. In the forenoon session, Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), and Mathematics (MA) paper was held.  While in the afternoon session, Physics, Economics, Biotechnology, and Mathematical Statistics paper was conducted.
