IIT JAM Registration 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will conduct the Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) 2026 on February 15, 2026. Students who are seeking admission to 3000+ seats in various postgraduate programmes at IITs and over 2300 seats at IISc and CFTIs, including NITs, DIAT, IIEST Pune and IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, SUET and other participating institutes can fill their application form for appearing in IIT JAM 2026 from September 5, 2025, onwards. The IIT JAM registration process will be conducted in online mode. Students will be able to fill the registration form for IIT JAM 2026 from jam2026.iitb.ac.in.
IIT JAM 2026 Exam Mode
The IIT JAM 2026 exam will be conducted as a computer based test (CBT) in seven test papers, namely Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH) in over 100 cities across India.

Admission Based on IIT JAM 2026

Dual Degree, M.S (Research), Joint M.Sc. - Ph.D., M.Sc. - Ph.D. Dual Degree and Integrated‐ Ph.D (I-PhD) in various institutes for the academic session 2026-27 at IITs and other participating institutes.

The Science and the HSS Department of IIT Kharagpur started four-year BSc programme admission to which is subject to a valid rank in JEE Advanced exam. Aspirants seeking IIT Kharagpur BSc and Integrated MSc admission need to qualify for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams to get shortlisted. For eligibility, candidates are required to have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Those who would like to earn an MSc degree are given the option to do so at the end of the sixth semester of the BSc programme.
