TIFR GS 2026 exam result was released on January 30, 2026. After the result announcement, the conducting body, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, is gradually releasing the list of selected candidates in PDF format at the official website, tifr.res.in. TIFR GS 2026 – How to download Shortlisted Candidates PDF?

The shortlisted candidates' PDF includes information on Registration number, Title, and Name of the candidate. For each programme, a list is released separately. Here is how to check the list of candidates invited for an interview:

1. Click on the official website, tifr.res.in
2. Click on the Admission tab provided on the homepage.
3. Then click on the “Admissions” option.
4. Under the “Admissions for GS-2026,” click on “Shortlisted Candidates.”
5. You will find a table in which a table will display courses, interview dates, and a clickable link that will show shortlisted candidates.

Check the Shortlisted Candidates of I-PhD and PhD programmes: 

The TIFR GS entrance exam is conducted for entry to MSc-PhD, PhD, and MSc degrees in various subjects. Candidates will get entry in 5-year integrated MSc courses and PhD programmes after appearing for the entrance exam.
