The Tamil Nadu State Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan has announced that the TN 11th Results 2020 will be announced tomorrow, i.e. July 31 at 9.30 am. Students who have appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 11th Exam 2020 can check their results through the official websites, i.e. tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in. Students must note that the result available online is the only provisional mark sheet and they must collect the original mark sheet from their respective schools. The results for Tamil Nadu HSE +2 arrears will also be declared on the same day on the official website. However, there been no update on TN SSLC Results 2020 yet.

"Examination results will be released on 31.7.2020 at 9.30 am for students who have appeared for Class 11 tests. Exam results will be sent via SMS to the mobile number provided by the students and individual candidates in the schools where they have studied," the minister tweeted.

TN 11th Result 2020: How to check Tamil Nadu Plus One Result 2020

  • Go to the official website of the Tamil Nadu Board, i.e.tnresults.gov.in
  • Click on the ‘download’ result link
  • Enter your registration number/ roll number
  • The result will appear on the screen
  • Download it, and take a print out for future use.

Around 9 lakh students registered to appear for the Tamil Nadu plus one exam this year which was held in March, however, due to lockdown, papers of a few subjects were left. Last year the number of students who appeared in the TN HSE +1 Exams was 8,06,799. Out of these the number of boys appeared was 3,66,596 and the number of girls appeared was 4,35,176. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 95.0 per cent. The boy's pass percentage was 93.3 per cent while the girls pass percentage was  96.5 per cent.
