TN SSLC Result 2023: The Directorate of Government Examination (DGE) TN will release the TN SSLC supplementary result 2023 tentatively in July 2023. The TN Board had released the TN 10th Result 2023 on May 19, 2023 at 10 AM on the official website -tnresults.nic.in. Students can check their Tamil Nadu SSLC result 2023 using roll number and date of birth. The TN SSLC exams 2023 were held from April 6 to April 20, 2023. Over 9 lakh students appear for the Class 10th board exams every year. The TN SSLC Result 2023 mentions the student's name, roll number, date-of-birth, marks obtained in all subjects, grades, etc. Students must that the Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2023 released online is provisional in nature. They will need to collect their mark sheet and other certificates from school after contacting them soon after the result declaration. Students may also check their TN SSLC Result 2023 via SMS or app. The overall pass percentage is 91.39%.

Last year, TN Board released the TN 10th Result 2022 on June 20 at 10 am in a press conference. The official link has been activated at 12 noon on the official website at tnresults.nic.in. The overall pass percentage has been recorded at 90.07%. All the students who appeared for the examinations will be able to check their TN 10th Result 2023 using roll number and date of birth. 

TN SSLC Result 2023 - Highlights

• Overall Pass percentage - 91.39%
• Tamil Nadu SSLC exam pass percentage increased by 1.38 percentage as compared to last year.
• This year, the girls have outshone the boys by 6 percent.
• The pass percentage of girls is 94.66% and the pass percentage of boys is 88.16%.
• A total of 6,97,212 students registered for Tamil Nadu Class 10 exam out of which 6,82,321 students appeared.
• 4,55,000 boys and 4,59,000 girl students wrote the exam. 5,65,468 passed.
• Perumbalur district has recorded the highest pass percentage of 97.6%.
• Sivaganga district bagged the second rank with pass percentage of 97.53%.

Students can check their TN SSLC result in online mode through the official website. The step to check the result are given below:

• Visit the official website- tnresults.nic.in
• Click on the link of 'SSLC Exam - March 2023 Results'
• A login window will open on the screen
• Enter the registration number and date-of-birth
• The result will appear on the screen. Check for any discrepancy
• Save and download the result 
• Take a print copy of the same and secure it for future

Students can access their Tamilnadu SSLC Result 2023 via app too. They need to download the 'TN SSLC Result' app on their smartphone, click on the result link, enter the date-of-birth and registration number and submit details. The TN 10th Result 2023 details will appear on the screen.

• Students need to score 35 marks out of 100 to pass in every subject
• For subjects with theoretical and practical elements in it, students need to score 20 out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in practical examination

TN 10th Result 2023 - Re-evaluation/ Re-totalling

The Tamil Nadu Board gives the student provision to apply for re-totalling or re-evaluation of the TN 10th Result 2023. After the TN SSLC Result 2023 is declared, the board will release the applications for revaluation. Students can apply for the same by submitting the prescribed form and pay Rs 250 as the fee. Students must note that only the increase of marks will be taken into account.

Tamil Nadu 10th Supplementary Result 2023

Some students may be unable to clear a subject in the TN SSLC exam. Such students may apply for Tamil Nadu 10^th Supplementary examinations. Applications for TN supplementary exams will be made available through respective schools. Students will have to pay the desired fee as the TN 10th supplementary examination application fee. After the application process is done, DGE will conduct compartment exams in August, tentatively. Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2023 for supplementary exams will be declared in August/September 2023.

TN 10th Toppers List

Since 2018, the Tamil Nadu Board has stopped releasing the names of the toppers to discourage stress among the students. Instead, the state board announces the city or district which registers the highest pass percentage. The same will be updated here for the students' reference son after it is released.

What After TN 10th Result?

After the TN 10^th Result is declared, students must download their Provisional Certificates from the Directorate’s official website. In case of any discrepancy, students must report it to the authorities. Thereafter, students need to select an academic stream from Science, Commerce and Arts to study in classes 11 and 12.
