CUTN Entrance Exam

Conducted by Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), CUTN entrance exam is for admissions to the following programs for the academic year 2013:

• 5 year Integrated programs including: MSc in Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Economics
• 4 year Integrated Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Education
• 2 year Master of Arts (MA) in: English Studies, Classical Tamil, Social Work in Mental Health, Media and Communication
• 2 year Master of Science (MSc) in: General Economics, Financial Economics, Actuarial Economics, Environmental Economics, Applied Quantitative Economics

The exam is scheduled to be conducted July 13, 2013 and aspirants who have already taken CUCET-2013 need not apply for CUTN 2013 entrance exam.

Eligibility:

MA in English Studies:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks for General Category, 50% marks for OBC (Non-creamy Layer), 45% for SC/ST with English as one of the subjects.
• Aspirants must not have completed 24 years of age as on July 01, 2013.

MSc programs:

• Any graduate of a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks for general category, 50% for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 45% for SC/ST Candidates. These students must also have studied Mathematics at plus two level.
• The candidates should not have completed 24 years of age as on July 01, 2013.
