MGU MSc Textiles Fashion Exam

Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam conducted an entrance exam for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) in Textiles and Fashion programs for the commencing session 2013. The exam was conducted on August 04, 2013.

Eligibility:

Aspirants with a Bachelor’s Degree in any Fashion or Textile related subject/a Bachelor degree in any subject having textiles or Fashion as a core course or open course/ a Bachelor Degree plus a Diploma in Fashion or Textile related topic recognized by the University, are eligible for admission to the course. Note: The programme is offered in a women’s College only female candidates should apply for the programme

Seats: 15

Paper pattern:

• This hour long paper will encompass objective type multiple choice questions with four choices each
• Students will be tested in areas like general aptitude, creative ability and comprehension in English.

Application process:

• Students can download the application forms from www.mgu.ac.in from July 5, 2013 onwards
• Students should remit a registration fee of Rs. 400/-(Rs.200/-for SC/ST candidates) at the cash counter of the University or at FRIENDS JANASEVANAKENDRAM or by way of M.G.University Chalan from State Bank of Travancore.
• Please not that fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Students should submit applications in the office of the Deputy Registrar (Acad I), CAP CELL, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills PO, Kottayam PIN 686 560.
• Students should also enclose a self- addressed stamped envelope (Rs 5/-) along with the application.
