The Phase 1 of the SEE exam was conducted on February 28 and March 1, 2026. Phase 2 took place on March 28 and 29, 2026.

The SEE exam is conducted once a year but held in 2 to 3 different phases to accomodate all the registered candidates.

To apply for the SEE exam for the B.Tech course, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing a minimum of 60% marks.

To submit SEE application form, students must fill all their details carefully and pay the prescribed application fee. The SEE application fee is 1600 which can be paid online.

The SEE entrance test includes questions from subjects such as Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and subject-specific knowledge.

The SEE question paper will be in MCQ based format and there will be 80 qeustions asked in total. Candidates will get 2 hours to attempt all these questions. The difficulty level of the question paper will be based on 10/12 CBSE curriculam.

As per SEE exam pattern, for each correct answer students will get 2 marks each. There is no negative marking giving students complete freedom to attempt as many questions as they can without the fear of loosing marks.

As per the exam pattern of the exam, the total time duration of the SEE exam is 120 minutes (2 hours).
