A.J.K. Mass Communication Research Centre Eligibility

AJK MCRC PG Diploma in Broadcast Technology is a one-year programme. Admission to the programme is subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria specified by the institute. To be eligible for admission, candidates must fulfil the below-given eligibility requirements:

• They must have passed a Bachelor's degree of at least three years (or equivalent) in Physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ IT/ BCA or Engineering with at least 50% marks in aggregate
• They must have studied Physics and Maths at the Class 12 level

AJK MCRC MA is offered in four specialisations. Before applying for admission, aspirants must ensure that they meet the preset AJK MCRC MA eligibility criteria. They must have passed a Bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. A relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate is provided to PwD category-candidates. For some specialisations, candidates may be required to have some basic proficiency in the relevant field. 

AJK MCRC is a premier educational centre affiliated with Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). It offers a two-year MA at the PG level. Candidates seeking MA admission at the institute must appear for the JMI Entrance Exam. On qualifying the exam with the required cut-off, candidates are called for a personal interview. Candidates are evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Written Exam: 200 marks
• Interview: 45 marks
• Portfolio/SOP: 55 marks
