At TKR college of engineering and technology, only 4 to 5 faculty members hold PhD in their fields. And all other have either done M.Sc with B.Ed or M.Tech.
All the faculty members have the experience of teaching for more than 8 or 10 years which enhances the teaching ability. So they have experienced faculty members which is very good.

The staffs also conduct workshops to help 300 B.E. students to hone their skills. Quality of teaching is satisfactory compared to the COEP, rather mediocre if it comes to the range of specializations. Surveys done on the part of the students indicate on slight higher side on the need for more practical education.
