Admission to B.E./B.Tech courses provided by St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET) is open for candidates with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in 10+2 Science with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a technical subject.

Admissions are made on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). Registration for the entrance test, application through DTE portal, and choice of SVPCET is part of the admission process. Management quota seats often enable direct admission by contacting admission office, subject to eligibility and availability. At least 10+2 marksheets, entrance scores, and identity proof are required.

The merit cum means scholarships are awarded from 20 to 50 percent of the tuition fees to students securing good rank in JEE Main or MHT CET or manifesting brilliant performance in academics.

These scholarships assist students under financially weaker sections of the society through submission of income and eligibility documents. In addition to other government scholarships, the college is entitled for Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship, awarded under Maharashtra Government, for SC/ST/OBC students, which can result in huge dropout of costs on their fees.
