The ACAT exam is conducted in a CBT test mode across as many as 40 test cities in the country. The exam is conducted for admission to the MBA programme offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. There is no provision of the ACAT exam being conducted offline. Students must visit the exam centre to take the exam online.

The ACAT exam is a time based exam. The ACAT question paper has 100 multiple-choice questions in total. The question paper is to be completed in 150 minutes or two hours and 30 minutes. Candidates appearing for the ACAT exam, must adhere to the exam timings and ensure reaching the exam centre at least an hour before the exam begins. Candidates will not be allowed to the enter the examination hall once the gates close neither will they be given extra time. They must also keep in mind the negative markings.

ACAT results 2026 will be available in online mode on the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The university will announce the ACAT results in the last week of March 2026, tentatively. The Amrita MBA entrance exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode on February 7 and 8.
