Prospective chartered accountants need to take the Association of Chartered Accountants of India Test which serves as their certification examination. Both Foundation and Intermediate levels comprise different sections in the ACAT exam. Each of the Foundation Level contains four papers while the Intermediate Level consists of eight papers. The Foundation Level exam cost is INR 1,100 while candidates need to pay INR 1,700 for the Intermediate Level exam according to the fee structure. The exam certifies candidates to receive a certification which allows them to start their course for chartered accountancy.

Yes, international students can apply for the ACAT exam. Candidates applying should have a minimum of IBT-TOEFL score of 79 or IELTS score of 6.5 with individual category score of 6 or PTE score of 55 with individual category score of 50. They must also fulfil the other qualfying criteria for ACAT exam. They must have a valid passport.

No, it is not mandatory to have work experience to get admission to Amrita Business School or appear for ACAT. However, students with a work experience will be given priority over others. Also, the students applying for the exam must meet the eligibility criteria stated by the university to appear for the exam.

The Quantitative Aptitude section of the ACAT question paper include some important topics such as Arithmetic, Algebra Modern Math, Geometry, Number System Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time, Speed and Distance, Mensuration Permutation and Combination, Quadratic Equation, Logarithm, Probability Statistics Pie Chart, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Mixture and Allegations, Time and Work, etc.

Yes, there is sectional weightage in the ACAT exam. There are four sections in the ACAT question paper. There is a total of 100 MCQs in the ACAT exam and each sections has 25 multiple-choice questions each. Each question will carry three marks which makes a total of 75 marks per sections and 300 marks overall.
