There are online tally exams to test the candidates' proficiency on tally products. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent. Different recognised colleges require different aggregate marks in 10+2, so one can apply accordingly. The student must hail from a commerce background and have a basic understanding of Business Management.

Admission to MCom at the University College of Commerce and Business Management does require CPGET. The college does not permit direct admission without an entrance test. Students must clear CPGET and participate in Osmania University counselling. Seat allotment is done based on rank to finalise admission.

SC/ST candidates are required to simply pass the degree examination. The degree must be from a recognised university. Admission is granted based on CPGET scores.
