Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences opens its BCom portal in the early months of the year. You should keep an eye on the official website starting in February or March. Applying early gives you enough time to prepare your Letter of Motivation. Early birds also get more time to clear the online readiness tests.

Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences often conducts the BCom selection process in multiple phases. This helps the committee manage the high volume of applications they receive. Each round has its own set of dates for the online test and interview. If you miss the first round, you can usually apply in the second. However, seats fill up very quickly because of the small batch sizes. It is always safer to submit your form during the very first cycle.

Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences allows BCom students to pick minors from completely different fields. You won't find this at most traditional commerce schools. You could be a finance major with a minor in Psychology or Computer Science. This interdisciplinary mix is a huge advantage for your resume. It shows employers that you have a broad range of skills.

Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences structures its BCom to provide deeper technical depth in finance and tax. While a BBA is great for general management, this degree is for those who love the core of business operations. You get the same leadership training but with stronger accounting roots. It is the perfect balance for someone who wants to lead a finance team or start their firm.
