The documents required for admission in BCom at VVUC are:

  1. Passport Size Photograph.
  2. Scanned Copy of Signature.
  3. University Pre-registration Form.
  4. HSC Marksheet & Leaving Certificate.
  5. SSC Passing Certificate
  6. ABC ID
  7. Aadhar Card
  8. Gujarati Linguistic Minority Certificate (if applicable).
  9. Any other certificate if applicable. (like Physically challenged, Children with special needs like learning disability etc.)

VVUC application fee is INR 100 for BCom courses. Students can pay this fee before submitting applications forms. Fee can be paid online. The applications are available online and offline.

The minimum aggregate required is 35% for BCom and 45% for BMS. The eligibility is Class 12 or HSC from Science/Commerce stream. Candidates have to submit the application form on official college website. The college releases merit lists for admissions.

Yes, Loyola Chennai accepts admissions for BCom courses from candidates still awaiting Class 12 board exam results. Such candidates will be asked for a letter from their school principal proving as proof. 

If any such candidate is selected, they will be admitted provisionally until they submit their final marksheet of Class 12th.

Loyola College, Chennai BCom admission process requires candidates submit copies of these following documents:

  • 10th and 12th passing certificates
  • Graduation passing certificate
  • Identity proof
  • School leaving certificate
  • Migration certificate

No, Business Studies is not a mandatory subject to be eligible for Loyola College, Chennai BCom admissions. Candidates who studied commerce in place of Business Studies are eligible to apply as well. However, having one of these subjects along with other mandatory subjects is a requirement to fulfill BCom eligibility criteria.

General BCom course at Loyola Chennai admits candidates based on merit in Class 12 board exams. However, other BCom courses include a screening test. Candidates are selected based on this exam for seat allocation during BCom admissions.

Yes, admissions with 60% marks in Class 12 are possible. As per the latest cutoff trend, closing rank for both BCom courses is around 50-55%. Students with 60% should definitely apply for the course. Cutoffs can change each year.
