The BCOM cutoff of Pondicherry University is different for the years based on many of these factors including the level of the exams and the number of students who did apply for the course and the number of seats available for the applicants. To be admitted for the BCom programme at Bharathiar University one has to qualify 10+2 and secured a minimum of 50% of the total marks. The admission process usually takes place in May-June every year. Eligible candidates can submit their application through the university website and for this applicants have to pay INR 300 as application fees to general candidates and INR 150 to SC/ST candidates. T. John Group of Institutions BCom courses are affiliated with Bangalore University. The university and T. John College accept the scores of K-CET scores for admission. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam candidates must complete their Class 12 from the relevant stream and have decent scores. BCom courses at T. John Group of Institutions are offered with the affiliation of Bangalore University. The course is offered for three years, and divided into six semesters. T. John College offers regular BCom degree and Bachelor in Commerce courses in two specialisations i.e., BCom with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and BCom in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The BCom placements at T. John Group of Institutions are considered decent by some students and alumni, while some of the reviews show dissatisfaction towards placement opportunities.
