SJCC BCom admission is entirely merit-based. Candidates are shortlisted based on their merit in Class 12. Hence, there is no entrance exam for getting an admission at SJCC for BCom. However, the college conducts an aptitude test and interview for admitting students under the management quota. The test and the interview are conducted at the SJCC campus. The selection is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination (Class 12), performance in the aptitude test and the interview.

The last date to apply for admission to the BCom course of SJCC varies every year. To get an admission at SJCC, candidates have to submit their applications on the CAP portal available on the official website of Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU). This is because SJCC is affiliated with MGU. The last date to apply on the official website of SJCC for admission under the management quota has not been specified by the college yet.
