Yes, Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women has scholarships in the BCom programme. The college gives scholarships under merit-based and first-generation learner categories. Added to this are special sports scholarships for undergraduate students and special incentives for PUC students. The eligibility criteria, for instance, would have to be fulfilled by the students. The rankings of the institute in the 'Commerce' category have displayed a stable trend when evaluated against the previous year's ranking. In 2023, MLACW's rank is #63, the same as last year's rank in the 'Commerce' category by the Outlook ranking. However, as per the latest 2024 outlook ranking report the MLACW climbed 2 ranks to # 61 in the ‘Accounting & Commerce’ category.

Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women is ranked across categories by some of the prominent national ranking bodies, like India Today, Outlook, etc. The ranking under Accounting & Commerce by the India Toady was #62 in 2021 and #69 in 2022. It has been found that in the 'BCom' category, the ranking of the institute has fluctuated when compared with the previous year's ranking. MLACW climed 3 ranks to the #66 rank in the 'BCom' category by India Today ranking in 2023.

The selection for Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University BCom courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination. To get admission into the course, the students first must apply via the official website of the college.

Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University offers over 60 BCom courses via its many affiliated colleges. This amounts to an intake of more than 10,000 seats. Out of all the affiliated colleges/institutes, Saraladevi Satishchandra Agarwal Government First Grade College has the highest intake with 1,950 seats.
