The Heritage College offers BCom Honours programmes at the undergraduate level under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) prescribed by the University of Calcutta. The Heritage College BCom eligibility criteria is Class 12 Board examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or equivalent with English as one of the subjects at Class 12.

As per the 2023 NIRF placement report, a total of 415 UG students were placed during the placement drive and the placement rate is 43% were placed during SLC DU placements in 2021. The median package offered to UG students was INR 3.8 LPA. According to the NIRF report 2022, 450 or more UG (3-year) students choose to continue their studies.

No, you can't join B.Com without CUET. Shyam Lal College admission for UG programmes is subject to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by NTA. Aspirants, willing to apply for Shyam Lal College admission 2023 must register themselves for CUET exams and appear for the same. 

Candidates interested in getting into a DU-affiliated college, i.e., Shyam Lal College need to follow the CUET exam and DU CSAS registration process. In order to pursue a Master of Commerce (MCom) course at Dravidian University, candidates should be aware of the eligibility criteria of the exam. To get admission in MCom course, candidates should have done their Bachelors’, preferably BBA or BCom, from a recognised university and should have secured a minimum 55% marks. St Joseph College of Communication does not accept the rank and score of any entrance examination. St Joseph College of Communication BCom admission is entirely based on marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 examination. Candidates who have passed Class 12 examinationcan apply for BCom programme and candidates who wish to take admission through the Management Quota must have obtained minimum 65% aggregate in Class 12 examination.
