Starting with CA.
CA itself holds weightage as CA is one of those indian degrees which is most recognised in F&A field globally so CA alone can land you a starting package of 6 to 7 lacs and could go up to 20 lacs plus depends upon number of attempts. From where you did your Articleship, how good you are with concepts, how good your communication skills are and most important company you are interviewing as every company has their pre decided salary bucket and HR will decide where you fall and obviously when I say communication skills, I mean English as MNC corporation consider this. ACCA is all-rounder and since you are a CA you need to give only four exams to complete ACCA
These two degrees will give you more recognition globally and will give you an edge in any interview. Now come to your questions.
Salary!
Assuming you are a fresher and considering your qualifications. Starting package should be around 12 lacs to 18 lacs. And if you have experience then it's depending upon your experience, last package and so many things but yes more than 20 lacs if you have experience. At the end I would say degree matters but there are few things a hiring manager will consider for e. g. experience, Communication skills, your attitude as we can teach accounting to a person but can't teach how to behave, if you got any Rank in these exam for example : Rank holder in CA alone can easily land at 20 lacs as their starting package and company matters Big four may pay 7 to 12 lac starting package and Companies like BCG or Mackenzie group or Google can pay you more than 20 lacs plus.
