| MBA/PGDM | Candidate with Master's degree in fields such as Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/Technology, or an equivalent discipline, are also eligible. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate with the mentioned marks (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates) |

Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in all subjects. AIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission into these courses will be through entrance exams. For BE the accepted exams are CET and COMEDK, for MTech, GATE, KPGCET and for MBA, MAT and KMAT.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA Admission
- Candidates who have completed a minimum 3-year degree programme from Bangalore University or any other equivalent university with at least 50% aggregate marks in all subjects are eligible for Admission.
- PGCET Cutoff 2023 for GM Category is listed below. The overall cutoff rank for Karnataka PGCET is 2496 for round 1.
- And PGCET Cutoff 2022 was 2032.

To be eligible for admission to the MBA program at Acharya Institute of Technology, the candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects, including languages, if any. Candidates must have passed the 12th examination with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

- Candidates interested in applying for B.Tech should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English with 45% marks.
- For selection, they have to take the KCET or the COMEDK UGET entrance exam.
- After qualifying for the entrance examination, candidates should appear for the counselling process. The final admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination and counselling process.
- Cutoff vary from category to category based on no of reserved seats.

Applicant must have obtained a second PUC / 10 + 2 or equivalent in English as one of the languages with Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. Students waiting for the results may apply for a limited time.
