Students can apply with 70% marks in Class 12. However, Class 12 scores are not enough. The aspirant must appear for ICAR UG exam for admission, if the students is not a resident of Tamil Nadu. If the student is a native of Tamil Nadu, then the aspirat must participate in counselling.

No, students cannot get direct admission in Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Kumulur, Tamil Nadu. The applicant is selected on the basis of ICAR UG exam/ merit, followed by counselling.
