Agriculture Scope

Scope for Higher Studies after B.Sc Agriculture:
Once aspirants complete their graduate level programme in agriculture, they can go for the M.Sc. Programme in the same field. There are many specializations available for a person to choose from. Career Opportunities after B.Sc. Agriculture
Jobs can be got by students of B.Sc. Agriculture with firms of the private or public sectors. With public sector firms, one can get employed as Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). But to get employed into this position, it will be needed for applicants to write an admission test. Job opportunities are also available for applicants as teachers. They can write the ARS-NET exam and get employed with colleges as lecturers. Jobs are also available for aspirants as Agriculture Development Officers (ADO) or as Block Development Officers. A few other areas where employment is offered to students of B.Sc Horticulture encompass banks, Dairy consultancies, insurance companies and Animal industry.

Agriculture: It is the main branch so after graduation your options for specialisation is wide. You can become a scientist, professor, agricultural field officer or move to management side too. There are many agri business management courses. Agriculture has a wide scope. Forestry: It is a sub-branch of agriculture. If you are into adventure then this course is for you. If you are genuinely interested in forest and trekking you can go for it. And you can even try for Indian Forest Service which is much easier than IAS. You can also pursue forest management course at IIFM-Bhopal. If you're in a state which gives 100 percent forest ranger seats to forestry graduates (most of the state department don't really take graduates these days, that's a different story) then you can consider forestry. If you want to go abroad, forestry has good scope there. Agriculture or forestry, I suggest you first decide that what you want to do after graduation and then choose your field.
