No, to be able to participate in the selection process for MBA at Ahmedabad University, students have to appear for any one entrance exam such as NMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or GRE. After appearing in the exam, students are then required to participate in the PI round (personal interview) and a WAT. The final selection is done considering the general evaluation of a candidate's performance in these assessments, their academic record, and the activities carried out outside of class. This means entrance exam scores form a significant portion of the process of selecting candidates.

Students should have passed Class 10 and 12 or have a diploma, and a bachelor's degree with at least 55 percent marks or equal CGPA. Candidates are then eligible to apply for the online application form and have to sit in any of the entrance exams accepted by the university, such as XAT, NMAT, CAT , CMAT, and GRE.

Depending on the specialization and additional variables like category and seat availability GLS University in Ahmedabad has several CMAT cutoffs for MBA admissions. The CMAT score is usually taken into account by the university in addition to other factors like prior academic standing, in-person interviews and occasionally group discussions. For the majority of management courses the typical CMAT cutoff range is between the 50th and 60th percentile though this might vary based on competition and the need for the particular program
