The AILET merit list is released once the counselling begins. NLU Delhi releases the merit list as per the seats and vacancies. The first merit list is released in the last week of December or first week of January. The merit list notification can be checked at the NLU Delhi official website.

NLU Delhi will invite Foreign Nationals & OCI/PIO Category students for the AILET 2026 counselling process for admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB program through a separate notification, candidates will be invited to register online for the counselling online through the official website.

The AILET counselling fee of INR 30,000 (INR for reserved category candidates) will be refunded only to candidates who have successfully registered for the counselling and paid the fee but who could not find a place in the merit list. The refund will be initiated by NLU Delhi to the source on completion of the admission process, whichever is earlier.

The invite list for AILET has the following details-

  • The invite list is released category-wise.
  • It included the application number, roll number, total marks, and All India Ranks of candidates shortlisted for counselling.
  • It also included the seat matrix and reservation for AILET admission process.
  • The counselling schedule.
  • The step-wise counselling process.

NLU Delhi has released the third provisional merit list for LLM programme on Jun 7. Selected candidates must pay the provisional admission confirmation fee by Jun 14. The counseling for NLU Delhi LLM course has been conducted in three rounds till now. NLU Delhi admissions 2023 to LLM courses is based on AILET scores 2023 followed by AILET Counselling 2023. 

There are no further AILET Counselling 2023 rounds scheduled for both BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. Earlier, NLU Delhi had released the second provisional merit list for LLM programme on Jan 30.

NLU Delhi has released the Eighth provisional merit list for BA LLB (Hons) programme on Jul 19. Selected candidates must pay the provisional admission confirmation fee by Jul 19. Earlier, NLU Delhi has released the Seventh provisional merit list for BA LLB (Hons) on Jul 18. The counselling for NLU Delhi BA LLB (Hons) has been concluded in eight rounds and for LLM course has been conducted in three rounds till now. NLU Delhi admissions 2023 to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses is based on AILET scores 2023 followed by AILET Counselling 2023.

There are no further AILET Counselling 2023 rounds scheduled for both BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses,

AILET stands for All India Law Entrance Test, which is conducted by the National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate law programs. The number of seats offered through AILET for each programme may vary from year to year. Here is an approximate number of seats offered by NLUD through AILET for the academic year 2023-24:

General - 93.25 marks
Scheduled Caste - 59.75 marks
Scheduled Tribe - 58.5 marks
Persons with Disabilities - 64 marks
Kashmir Migrant - 35.25 marks
Residents of Jammu and Kashmir - 54.25 marks.
