AIMS Institutes admissions are conducted primarily on the basis of various prescribed entrance tests. These include CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, and CMAT. Students may feel free to visit the institute website and check for any category or course-wise specialisation, if any. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme must be graduated with the bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ CAT-1).

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with an equivalent CGPA or a minimum score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/CAT-1) from an accredited university. Additionally, they ought to have scored at least in the 70th percentile in CAT or in the 80th percentile in MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA. In addition, candidates must have finished their undergraduate studies in any discipline under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 patterns, earning at least 50% of the possible points from an accredited university.
