Aptech Academy in Bangalore offers many different courses in the field of aviation and hospitality, but unfortunately, I could not locate any AME course. Hence, I am unable to provide fees. I am attaching a link of this academy for your information.

You have indeed posed an interesting query. See, the eligibility for admission in AME courses is 12th. But since almost all of these are private colleges, I feel there would not be any ceiling of upper age limit since you would be paying fees. To test this theory, you need to approach one of the institutes. Secondly, one can appear for DGCA exam without AME but in this case one need to have hands on experience on aircraft maintenance.
But may I ask as to why do you desire to go in this direction after obtaining B.Tech in IT?

Unlike other engineering programs you do not get a degree or Diploma after completion of course. This is a certification course. During the course one is trained to clear the licence exams conducted by DGCA (governing body for aviation) apart from the regular exams conducted by college. Clearing of the Gov license exams are mandatory (pass Mark is 70%) to become an engineer. Completion of the course of 3 years does not satisfy the requirements to be an engineer & may need to work as an aircraft technician for aminimumof 2 additional years on any aircraft. Aviation sector is still unstable with most of the airlines reporting

You will definitely get admission, because the eligibility for AME is to pass class 12th. After this course, you will be enabled to get license from DGCA. This in turn will enable you to get job in any airlines in India.
