Hi Om,
Companies / Recruiters who visited the campus are Air India Go Air IndiGo Airlines Jet Airways. Placements seem decent in this institute however it also totally depends on the candidate appearing for the interview.
For updated information on the placement, get in touch with the current students or alumni through social media. You can also drop an email to the college for more clarification.

Both the engineers hold equal value to the release of aircraft for it's flight. The mechanical systems are taken care by Mechanical AME while the Radio Telephony and communication systems are the responsibility of Avionics Engineer. Both have an equally important job, AME Avionics have to get an Addition RTR license issued by WPC INDIA. Both are equally valuable to the organization.

For B.Sc in aircraft maintenance from Nehru College, you would have to pay 1 lakh per year as the fee structure. This fee is excluding all taxes. For extra-curricular activities, you have to pay by yourself.

Hello Sanket,
Presently there are enough opportunities in the civil aviation sector in India. Almost, all airlines have placed orders for the purchase of aircraft. All these will require licenced AME's to service. So, just do not worry.

Aircraft maintenance engineering deals with the repair of these aircraft. This can be part specific. So in comparison, aircraft maintenance engineering deals with repairing existing aircraft, where aeronautical engineering deals with creating new and improved air craft.

Hello Karthik, Its nice to see your query. Many students are getting confused. Shakespeare had famously said "What's in a name. A rose is a rose ". But in India institutes try to mislead by giving fancy sounding names to courses. Any engineering course needs to be approved by AICTE & is of four years duration. Degree of B.Tech or BE is awarded after successful completion. On the other hand aircraft main courses are approved by DGCA and are of three years duration. Degree of B.Sc. Is normally awarded. Hence rather than going by nomenclature please look for these indicators. Aircraft Main courses deal with imparting knowledge about how t
