AKGEC Ghaziabad offers M.Tech course admission in two ways: direct or through counselling. In either case, it is necessary that the aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates can apply on the counselling portal of AKTU to get a seat through counselling. For direct admission, candidates can directly contact the admission office and submit application to apply.

For admission to a MTech programme at AKGEC, it is crucial that the aspirants fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements. Thus, as prescribed by the college, a candidate must hold a valid BE/BTech degree in the relevant discipline of Engineering with more than 60% aggregate. Candidate should have passed the degree programme from a recognised university. Further, the applicant should also have the mark sheet and degree at the time of form filling and admission confirmation. The documents is required for verification purposes.

Candidates seeking admission to MCA at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College must have passed their Class 12 with one among Mathematics/ Statistics/ Accountancy as compulsory subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ ST category). For direct admission, there is no minimum aggregate. Candidate should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised board. The course is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and admission to it is subject to UPTAC counselling conducted by the affiliating university.
