It is a PAN-India entrance examination, a two-hour multiple-choice examination with 100 questions from Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

No, AISECT Universities do not accept JEE Main Scores for admission. The conducting body use a combination of merit-based systems and the AISECT Joint Entrance Exam (AJEE) to evaluate candidate's performance. For more details, read here - https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/ajee-exam.

Admissions for the AJEE B.Tech course will be held entirely online. Candidates must register and appear for the exam. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the exam, followed by counselling.

The AISECT Group of Universities will open the registration at ajee.aisectonline.com/AJEEOnline/AJEEIndex.aspx. Click on the application form. Register and fill out the required details. Upload your recent passport size photograph and a valid ID proof. Verify all the details, pay the fee and submit the application form. Once the payment is complete, keep a copy of payment receipt for future receipt.

The AISECT application fee is Rs 1500. The mode of the application form is online and candidates can pay the application fee through net banking/credit card/debit card.

Once the AJEE registration is complete, candidates must take the printout of the application form and submit it to the H.O Bhopal along with the necessary documents. The authorities will verify all the details and generate the registration number within three days after receiving all documents.
