The AJEE 2026 eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Engineering programme is as follows. Applicants can seek admission to the Bachelor of Engineering programme if they have successfully completed their Class 12 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and attained a minimum score of 45%. In the case of candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories, the required minimum percentage for Class 12 is 40%.

There will be a total of 100 questions asked in the AJEE 2026 exam. All the questions will be multiple-choice questions. There will not be any negative marks given for the wrong answers. The exam authority will conduct the AJEE exam as an online computer-based exam. The candidates must attend the exam in the exam centre.

The AISECT Joint Entrance Exam (AJEE) syllabus is released on the official website. The updated syllabus will be also availble on this page. The candidates must check the syllabus before they start the exam preparation. The AJEE syllabus is different for different programmes at AISECT University. The AJEE syllabus for BTech programme includes topics from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

The AJEE is conducted multiple times in a year. The AJEE Cycle 1 exam will be conducted in May 2026. The AJEE Cycle 2 exam will be conducted in June 2026. The exact dates will be updated on the official website of AISECT University. The application form will be available from May 2026 on the official website.

The AJEE is a computer-based test, also known as an online test. The exam was conducted only in online mode at various exam centres. The AJEE exam is of two two-hour durations wherein candidates need to attempt multiple-choice questions. To get admission to most programmes at AISECT University, candidates are assessed on a scale of 100 marks. For admission to the LLM course, candidates are required to participate in an interview round following their successful completion of AJEE 2023.
