Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) offers UG, PG,  and PhD courses across various streams. The University offers UG-level programmes such as BTech, BDes, BA, BCom, and others. At the PG-level,  the available programmes are MTech,  MDes, MBA, and others. BDes is available in various specialisations such as Interior Design, Fashion Design, Product Design,  and others.

These courses are offered under various schools, namely School of Management, School of Engineering, School of Law, and others. 

Ajeenkya DY Patil University, School of Engineering admissions are offered based on ACET scores of the candidates. ACET is the in-house entrance exam for ADYPU. Candidates can also apply for BTech based on their JEE Main/ MHT CET and MHT CET MTech/ GATE for M.Tech programmes.

The BDes admissions at DYPDC require candidates to appear for the DPU AIDAT to qualify for admissions. The aforementioned entrance exam is conducted by Ajeenkya DY Patil University to admit candidates for the BDes course. Any candidate who has passed 10+2 from any of the government recognised board is eligible to apply for BDes admissions at the institute. 

The institute announced the MHT CET cutoff for admission to the BTech programme for all rounds and categories. The MHT CET cutoff 2022 ranged from 4.33 percentile in the first round closing percentile to 84.68 in the last round closing percentile.  Ajeenkya DY Patil University accepts the MHT CET cutoff percentiles for admission to various BTech course specialisations. 

Over 500 companies visited the University campus during ADYPU placements 2024. The highest and average packages offered were INR 1.20 crore per annum and INR 6.50 LPA, respectively. A large share of students was placed in the Software/ IT sector and the majority of companies participated from the same sector. TCS, Hyundai, Tata Motors, and many other leading companies participated in Ajeenkya DY Patil University placements 2024.

Admission to the BBA programme at Ajeenkya DY Patil University Seamedu is merit-based. Eligible candidates are shortlisted based on their academic records and must then appear for the STAC Interview, which is a key component of the final selection process.
